If I heard the term credit crunch again, I would scream.

From Obama’s troublesome cabinet choice to uproaring unemployment race, 2009 is expected to be the time frame for the rock bottom of everything.

I am not an economic person.

But I do know something about numbers.

When Xiaomei left, London was dressed up in pure white by nature - big big snow storm.

Three of us went down to Tim Hortons looking for milk-flavored tea.

There wasn’t even a little bit of blue.

The sky was placid.

The people were excited as we would gather again in the city of New York.

When Weiwei left, Toronto was still trying to catch up with fashion trend.

411 Duplex was still 411 Duplex.

1519 was dirty as ever.

In the past three years, I have three best friends all moved back to the same city, Beijing.

For me there are approximately another two years of prison.

When I leave Canada, will I be able to leave everything behind or keep turning my head around, peering into those days when friendship is all I have and ailing economy is much less IN than Sex and the City.

Obama won.

The world of politics will revive into a series of new orders in the next four years.

More importantly, as McCain puts it, this election has a special significance for African-American. A black man once  couldn’t even vote and now is the president of the United States.

I never believed in democracy though. I think it s ridiculous that people assume it as the ultimate societal form.

Today, on the most debated, covered, anticipated Election Day, I am deeply moved by democracy and how it has brought people into the arena of politics.

Or maybe it is just because Americans are scared so they start to care.

Obama has come a long way. It was a tough battle. And he is going to face a tougher one starting tomorrow. For better or worse, it would be a change.

McCain conceded with class, generosity, and charisma.

He has been so genuine.

After taking off the flesh of a politician, he, for the first time in my heart, becomes a true maverick.

About Sarah’s career prospect, I suggest comedian.

The thing about visiting a city yourself is that it opens up a slew of possibilities.

Possibilities such as getting drunk at four season (O GOD).

Or meeting up with you university friends

Or falling love with a perfect stranger whose smile totally kills.

Or just choosing not to do anything but sitting next to the window and surfing online.

Traveling oneself opens up lots of possibilities.

One possibility that I have truly enjoyed is absorption of tranquility.

Vancouver has nice air, lovely clouds on the blue sky, and a quiet sea.

What Toronto is in need is none of the above.

What Toronto needs is an accident

I had an accident.

I fell through a class table and I got 18 stitches.

My guarding angel saved me, kissed my forehead and said “it is okay, babe don’t worry about it.”

An accident led me to faith.

A little bit faith in love.

A drastic narration is never enough when it comes to motion pictures.

The director’s Tour de Force was his delicate grasp of sentiments.

The sentiment is of a young girl’s crush and how it turned from angelic purity to demonic jealousy.

The sentiment is of a simply guy’s striving to survive for the blue cottage on the beach.

The sentiment is of a war that has demolished mammoth part of humanity and yet left us with so many beautiful stories.

These sentiments are brought to you by increditable mise-en-scene and brilliant cinematography.

Only if vision is enough, the background music properly calms you down through the tempest of love, hatred, and the theme of the movie, regret.

Craving for the best for oneself is nothing wrong.

We are all tantalized by things we would never possibly possess.

However, it is spiteful that you wish for the worst for other people to balance out your own evil psychology.

We are all in the twilight zone of being a good person or a bad person.

Before we all turn into scheming trollops, take some time for atonement.
